Tag 56 / Day 56

Um dem kommenden Mistral zu entgehen, steuern wir für die nächsten 3 Nächte den Port Grimaud im Golfe de St. Tropez an. Die Einfahrt in das Revier ist überlagert von diversen kleinen und großen Motoryachten, Fähren und vor Anker liegenden Kreuzfahrtschiffen. Ayo geht in diesem Trubel etwas unter und wird ordentlich durchgeschüttelt. Wir meistern unser erstes Anlegemanöver ohne Beate mit Bravour. Zum Abschluss des Tages genießen wir die Abendstimmung auf dem Vordeck.

In order to avoid the coming mistral, we head for Port Grimaud in the Golfe de St. Tropez for the next 3 nights. The entrance to the area is overlaid by various small and large motor yachts, ferries and cruise ships at anchor. Ayo gets almost lost in this hustle and gets shaken up properly. We master our first docking maneuver without Beate with flying colours. At the end of the day we enjoy the evening atmosphere on the foredeck.
