Tag 54 / Day 54

Wir bleiben noch einen weiteren Tag in Cassis. Beim Café au Lait werden wir Zeuge, wie eine viel zu große Motoryacht in den engen und vollen Hafen von Cassis einfährt. Dank des Einsatzes mehrerer Marineros sowie der Crew an Board, findet die “JFF” ihren Platz an der Mooringleine. Unser neues Sonnensegel spendet wertvollen Schatten, es ist wie immer sehr heiß. Wir lassen unser Dinghy zu Wasser und Philip dreht sogleich ein paar Runden im Hafenbecken. Am Nachmittag trifft Beate die Entscheidung einen Heimaturlaub zu machen. Bereits ab morgen setzen wir unsere Reise vorerst zu Zweit fort.

Dank des “Bloc Marine” sind wir jetzt auf dem neusten Stand, was die Häfen und Ankerplätze angeht. Super!

We stay another day in Cassis. While enjoying a Café au Lait we witness how an oversized motor yacht enters the narrow and crowded port of Cassis. Thanks to the efforts of several mariners and the crew on board, the “JFF” finds its place on the mooring line. Our new sunsail provides valuable shade, as it is hot as usual. We launch our dinghy and Philip immediately does a few laps in the harbor basin. In the afternoon, Beate decides to take a vacation home. Starting tomorrow Philip and Aleks will continue the journey for the time being on there own.

Thanks to the “Bloc Marine” we are now up to date in terms of ports and anchorages. Excellent!
