Tag 23 / Day 23

Um 9 Uhr starten wir bei bedecktem Himmel Richtung Verdun. Der Algenbewuchs im Wasser wird immer heftiger, sodass AYO größte Mühe hat sich durch diese zähe Suppe zu wühlen. Bei den Manuellen Schleusen, legt Philip mit Hand an und wir kommen weit bis nach Verdun. Die göttliche Schleuse ist unsere Finale. In Dieue-Sur-Meuse legen wir und gönnen uns ein kühles Desperados im Cockpit (oder auch 2 ;-)).

At 9 a.m. we set off towards Verdun under an overcast sky. The algae growth in the water is getting worse and worse, so that AYO has great difficulty digging through this tough soup. At the manual locks, Philip lends a hand and we come a long way to Verdun. The holy lock is our finale. We tie up in Dieue-Sur-Meuse and treat ourselves to a cool Desperados in our cockpit (or 2 ;-)).
